Himalayan trekking is fun, challenging and for many a once in a lifetime experience. The mountains and their people often provide magical and unexpected moments. Wilderness Trekking uses personal experience and our passion for the Himalaya to enable our clients to experience as much Mountain Magic as possible.![]() Mick Bromley has been traveling and climbing in the great mountain ranges of the world for over 15 years. He has led over 80 treks and expeditions in twenty countries. In 2005 Mick was a key member of the very successfull Karrimor Everest Expedition. Other expeditions include Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam and many other summits around the world. Nepal still remains Mick’s first love. The endless possibilities for exploration and his friendships with the Nepalese people have ensured his annual return to this magical Himalayan destination. Mick holds Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certification and has a strong interest in all altitude related issues. He is a keen mountain photographer and enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking and trail running. He is married to Cynthia Ross and lives on Vancouver Island. Exploration of all forms is his passion, and when not searching out new trekking destinations he guides Sea Kayaking expeditions on the West Coast of Canada. Mick in his own words - "I enjoy climbing, but over the years have found more fulfillment in journeys through the mountains rather than standing on top of them. I love to search out moments of connection with mountain people and am often found drinking tea in a Sherpa kitchen or visiting ancient monasterys. I founded Wilderness Trekking to offer unique treks in a style that is rewarding and fun for everyone involved, including the local staff. "
![]() Andy in his own words - "My heart belongs to the Himalayan Lands, which are the true roots of adventure travel. I want to share my passion and experience gathered over the years to provide others with a grand Himalayan trekking vacation."
