  • The Classic Manaslu Circuit is a remote and challenging trek around Manaslu (8163m), the eighth tallest mountain in the World. Magnificent mountain scenery, ancient Tibetan Buddhist settlements and a challenging, yet non-technical 5100m pass crossing ensure a total Himalayan experience for all who walk this classic 4 week circuit. Our Manaslu trek is often described as ‘the best all round trek’ in Nepal.

  • According to legend, Dolpo is a ‘beyul’ or hidden land, in reality this remote high altitude region of central Nepal has a unique Tibetan Buddhist culture and spectacular panoramic mountain landscapes. Our 4 week exploratory traverse crosses high passes, visits Shey Gompa and the fabled Crystal Mountain and would suit experienced trekkers with a real sense of adventure.

  • Trekking through the Everest region of Nepal and hiking to Everest Base Camp is certainly one of the worlds all time classic mountain journeys. The Khumbu, as the region is known to the Sherpa people combines magnificent mountain scenery and a fascinating Buddhist culture.   • Walking around Mount Kailas in Tibet is the greatest mountain pilgrimage on earth, and our approach through North Western Nepal, provides perfect acclimatization before undertaking the sacred Kailas Kora. Source of four of the greatest rivers in Asia, ancient texts describe Mount Kailas as the spiritual centre of the universe. Our departure dates are timed to coincide with the world famous Saga Dawa festival at the base of Kailas and we return to Kathmandu with an overland journey across Tibet, ‘the roof of the world’.

Our Phubjhika Festivals holiday offers a short 3 day trek, combined with exploration of Bhutan’s most fascinating cultural centres. We will visit Taksang, or the Tigers Nest Monastery and coincide with perfectly preserved, ancient Buddhist Festivals at Nyzer Dromchoe and Paro.
